Why I need to replace a lost or damaged bus pass
All students who register with Queensland Transport for bus travel assistance are issued with a bus pass which signifies what category a student is travelling under.
A driver can then identify if:
- You are correctly registered for travel
- If you have to pay a fare
- How much your fare is
- Whether you are entitled to concession - Safetynet
All students receive their first bus pass free of charge. However, if you destroy/lose your bus pass you will need to replace it within 3 days. A student that has a bus pass that stops working for no apparent reason (faulty) is given a replacement pass for free.
Replacement bus passes are available from our drivers or online. They can be given to a driver when completed.
