  • All students must be registered with Duffys City Buses in 2011, regardless of whether you are a 'fare paying' (NON STAS) student or if you are elegible for School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS)
  • If you are fully or part elegible for STAS, you will need to fill out a BTA form and have it back to the office by 19/1//2012.

EXISTING STUDENTS - 2012 FULL STAS (pay no fare) will see the introduction of 'School n Go' bus passes for all students who are currently and  correctly registered with both Queensland Transport and with Duffys City Buses.  Those correctly registered students who are receeiving Bus Travel Assistance via the Queensland government will automatically receive a new "School n Go" bus pass at no charge.  This bus pass is for to and from School Travel only.  Any additional services students may require, i.e. after school events must be paid for.  'School n Go' passes have the option for credit to be placed on them so payment for additional travel can be made easily.

EXISTING STUDENTS - 2012 PART STAS ( pay additional fare) Students who are currently registered with Queensland Transport under the BTA scheme but have to pay an additional fare to get to their school of choice, will have to ring the office before any bus passes will be issued.  These students will be required to 'top up' their 'School N Go' bus pass with additional credit to pay for the additional fare.

NEW STUDENTS - 2012 Any  New Student wishing to be utilise our service must register with Duffys Buses.  Please refer to School Services to see if your are elegible for any government assistance with school travel.  This will determine which form you need to complete to be registered with Duffys Buses.  If you are eligible you will need to complete a BTA form, if you are not eligible you will need to complete a Student Bus Travel Form - see below
