Your Local Bundaberg Bus Service

Duffy City Buses has been in business in the Bundaberg area for over 55 yrs. From its humble beginnings in Earl’s Court, Duffy’s has now grown to house approximately 25 buses, carries over 1000 passengers per day in town services and over 2000 passengers per day on school services.

BUS ROUTE AMENDMENTS BEGINNING 28-03-19
All parent/guardians have been emailed this information.  If you have not received it please contact our office on 41514226.

The runs listed on this website are the current runs which will cease on the 27-3-19.

The new runs will be available via the school link from the 28-3-19,or click on the run below:

CHANGES TO THE FOLLOWING AM SERVICES
The #51 will no longer run through McCavanagh St, Croft St or Birchdale Drive.  Passengers will need to catch the #4 in Holland St or Garrets Way.  Passengers can catch the #51 directly at the Aldi/Woolworths Bargara Bus stop or transfer from the #4 
The #51 will commence its service in the Blain St and Fairway Drive areas before it reaches the Aldi/Woolworths Bargara Bus stop.  From this point it will travel directly to Shalom via Telegraph Rd, City and Bundaberg SHS.  It will no longer travel via Faldt St and Branyan St.  Passengers needing these locations will need to transfer to either the #80 or #5 at Bundaberg SHS.
The #57 will commence its service in Hughes Rd and no longer travel through Blain St or Davidson St.  Students in these areas will need to catch the #51 service.  After the #57 travels through Hughes Rd it will continue as its usual service.
#41 will no longer travel through Berghofer Estate.

CHANGES TO THE FOLLOWING PM SERVICES
The #56 will commence its service from Kepnock SHS and travelling to Bundaberg SHS before continuing as its normal service.  Students previously catching the #56 from Shalom College will need to take the #51 service.
The #51 service will depart Shalom and travel to Bundaberg SHS via Maryborough St.  It will continue through the City, Telegraph Rd, Bargara Rd to the Aldi/Woolworths Bargara Bus Stop.  It will then travel through the Davidson St, Fairway Dr and Blain St areas. 
The #57 service will commence from Shalom and travel normally until it reaches Hughes Rd.  The service will not travel through Blain St and Davidson or the Bargara Aldi, Woolworths Stop.  Students will need to use the #51 for these areas.

To ensure that your student is currently being subsidised (BTA) by Queensland Transport please check the following:

  • Your address at the school is still the same as what you put on your BTA application.
  • You still attend the same school as you originally put on your BTA application.
  • You still have the same Parent/Guardian listed at the school as your original BTA application.

IF ANY ONE OF THE ABOVE IS NOT CORRECT YOU WILL NOT BE SUBSIDISED AND THEREFORE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO TRAVEL ON OUR SERVICES.
